Recently, Tracey had the absolute pleasure of capturing a beautiful half-day wedding that felt like a love letter to small-town living. From the hallowed aisles of St. Donatus Catholic Church near Macklin to a sunset reception at the Bodo Archaeological Centre, this day was proof that you don't need twelve hours to capture a lifetime of memories.

Tracey leaned into the challenge of the afternoon sun, using direct sunlight and dramatic shadows to create images that were literally stunning. These weren’t just "posed" photos; they were editorial-style captures that used the church’s natural light to frame the couple in a way that felt both holy and high-fashion!
The boys at this wedding absolutely leaned into the fun as well. In the middle of an open prairie field, they pulled out a vintage couch and took things to the next level by donning the bridesmaids' fur coats for a few hilarious shots. By the end of the session, the whole group mentioned how much they enjoyed the process. When you’re having fun, it shows in the photos.
