Banff
Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake are two of our favourite spots. You get beautiful water, towering mountain peaks and a lot of portrait options for variety.

Jasper
Talbot Lake and the Jasper Lake sand dunes as well as Athabasca Falls have been the backdrop for some of our most epic photos! Where else can you climb a mountain on one side of the road and wade into ankle deep water for 500 yards on the other?

Lake Louise
The turquoise water and towering Victoria Glacier set the stage for beautiful portraits. Lake Louise is a very busy location because of it’s iconic views, so be prepared for lots of people if you choose this location. Just so you know, we’re up for it and we can help you with the crowds :)

Emerald Lake
You have to check out the natural bridge and Takakkaw Falls while you’re here! We’re big fans of Emerald Lake and love it when couples choose to elope at the lodge.

Kananaskis
The Widowmaker trail and the sprawling Kananaskis Valley offer rugged beauty without the crowds. We love it here! Kananaskis feels like your own private mountain playground and we often recommend it to couples who prefer a little more space.

Nordegg
Abraham Lake’s surreal blue waters and the winding Cline River bring a rugged, wild beauty to Nordegg that’s hard to forget. It can be windy near the lake, but the views are incredible and there’s almost no one else around most days! This is truly one of Alberta’s hidden gems and we love photographing here.
