Modern Greenhouse Wedding at the Enjoy Centre’s Moonflower Room in St. Albert

Photography and video coverage of Torri & Kyle’s wedding at the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert, AB. The ceremony and reception were hosted in the Moonflower Room with portraits in the Salisbury Greenhouse and nearby Lois Hole Centennial Park.

The Moonflower Room Ceremony

Torri and Kyle chose to host both their ceremony and reception in the Moonflower Room at The Enjoy Centre. To accommodate this, the team from The Perfect Plan partitioned the western wall of the space for the ceremony while the majority of the room was pre-set for the reception behind the curtains. Once the couple said their "I do’s," we captured portraits in Salisbury at Enjoy (the greenhouse connected to the Moonflower Room) and at Lois Hole Provincial Park. This allowed the guests a break while Heather and her team removed the curtains and finished transforming the grand space for the evening reception.

Louis Hole Centennial Park Portraits

We love taking couples who get married in the St. Albert area to Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park for portraits. The park offers beautiful, wide-open spaces that are a perfect contrast to the architecture of the venue. Because it's only a two-minute drive from The Enjoy Centre, we were able to spend the bulk of our time shooting with Torri and Kyle rather than losing time to travel and traffic.

We ventured off the path into the long grass near the park entrance, using the lush tree line as a backdrop for the wedding party portraits. Once we finished up in the natural light, we made the quick trip back up the road to join the guests for the reception in the Moonflower Room.

Receptions at the Enjoy Centre’s Moonflower Room

The Moonflower Room is a stunning venue for a wedding reception. The natural light that pours through the glass ceiling creates an atmosphere that simply can’t be recreated with artificial lighting. Whenever possible, we make it a priority to slip into the reception space 10 minutes before guests enter. This gives us the chance to capture all the carefully prepared details that are special to the couple before the room fills up.

After the formal dances, we snuck out with Torri and Kyle for a few sunset portraits to cap off the day. This is a tradition we try to include with every couple. Most find they relish the chance to take a 10-minute break to reconnect while their guests enjoy the party—and it allows us to create some of the most romantic, intimate images of the entire wedding.

Of course, we don’t always get a perfect Alberta sunset, but those moments are still an opportunity to create something beautiful. We always have our lighting kit ready for blue hour or night portraits, and whether it’s raining or snowing, we love to embrace the elements to give our couples a unique "end-of-night" shot.
